Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-10

EspressoDesk subscriptions are non-refundable. Use the 14-day free trial to evaluate the platform before you pay; after a charge you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

1. No refunds on subscription fees

All subscription charges — base plans and add-on packs, monthly or annual — are final and non-refundable, in whole or in part, once paid. This includes unused time, unused ticket volume, unused agent seats and periods during which you chose not to use the workspace.

When you order a subscription you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and you acknowledge that, by doing so, you accept that the fee is non-refundable. We record this acknowledgement with the date, version of these terms and the order reference.

2. Evaluate free for 14 days first

Every workspace starts with a 14-day free trial with full functionality and no credit card. The trial is the way to test EspressoDesk before committing.

You are never billed during the trial, so there is nothing to refund. Buying a licence charges you immediately and starts the paid subscription.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the dashboard or the Lemon Squeezy billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — it is never immediate and never triggers a refund.

You keep full access until the end of the paid period. After that date the workspace becomes read-only: your data stays available for export for 30 days, but paid features stop.

Add-on subscriptions are cancelled separately from the base plan; cancelling the plan does not automatically cancel the add-ons.

4. Upgrades, downgrades and annual plans

Plan changes (upgrade or downgrade) on an active subscription are processed as a change of your existing subscription and are prorated: the unused part of the current period on the old plan is credited and only the difference for the remaining days is charged immediately. A downgrade normally produces a credit applied to your next invoice instead of a cash refund. No refund is issued for periods already used, and if your subscription has expired a plan purchase is a new subscription charged in full.

Annual subscriptions are paid in advance for 12 months and are non-refundable, including if you cancel or stop using the service mid-term.

5. Taxes and invoices

All prices are NET and exclude tax. Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, adds the sales tax, VAT or GST due in your country at checkout and issues the invoice. Tax amounts follow Lemon Squeezy's own rules where a refund is legally mandated.

Invoices and receipts are available in the Lemon Squeezy billing portal linked from your dashboard.

6. Limited exceptions

We may, at our sole discretion and without setting a precedent, issue a refund or a service credit for a duplicate charge, a billing error on our side, or documented extended downtime attributable to us.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer or statutory rights that apply to you and cannot be waived. EspressoDesk is sold to businesses, and consumer withdrawal rights generally do not apply to a B2B purchase of digital services that starts immediately at the buyer's request.

7. Questions and chargebacks

Contact info@getespressodesk.com from the account owner's address before opening a chargeback — billing questions are almost always resolved faster by email.

A chargeback raised against a valid, non-refundable charge may result in immediate suspension of the workspace.
