Adding optimized images to articles

The article editor shows images inline while you write, so what you see is close to what your customers get.

Use the image button to pick a file. Before uploading, EspressoDesk resizes it to a maximum of 1200 pixels wide and converts it to WebP at around 150 kilobytes. Screenshots stay readable and your portal stays fast, which also helps search engines.

Uploaded images are stored inside your workspace and only referenced by your articles. Crop screenshots to the relevant area before uploading, add a short description in the alt text and avoid embedding text-heavy images: text in an image cannot be searched or translated.
