Announcements: the news panel

The news panel is how product and workspace announcements reach your team without email. You will find it in the sidebar; unread entries are highlighted.

What it is for: release notes, planned maintenance, policy changes and internal notices. Each entry has a title, a date and a body that supports formatting, images and YouTube embeds.

Who writes what: EspressoDesk publishes platform news for every workspace. Members with the news permission can publish internal announcements that only your own workspace sees.

Tips: keep one topic per entry, put the action the reader must take in the first line, and archive entries that are no longer relevant instead of editing history. Announcements are not a substitute for a ticket: if something needs a reply, open one.
