Colour themes for your panels

Every user can pick their own colour theme for the signed-in panels. The choice is saved on your account, so it follows you to any browser or device you sign in from.

Open Settings -> Profile and find the Appearance card. There you choose the mode, light or dark, and one of the ready-made colour themes: Espresso (the default), Ocean, Forest, Plum, Graphite and Rose. Super admins find the same Appearance card inside the admin panel.

Custom theme: build your own colours

Pick "Custom" and a colour editor appears. You can set six elements individually:

• Accent (buttons, links) - the main brand colour used for primary buttons, active states and links.
• Page background - the base background behind all content.
• Cards and panels - the surface colour of cards, dialogs and dropdowns.
• Text - the main text colour.
• Borders - lines, separators and input outlines.
• Sidebar - the navigation column background.

Use the colour picker or paste a hex value such as #8A4B25. The preview is live: the whole panel repaints as you pick. Contrast colours - button text, muted text, hover states and charts - are calculated automatically from your choices, so the interface stays readable. Click Save to store the theme on your account, or Reset to go back to the suggested starting colours.

Each ready-made theme has a full light and dark variant, so you can freely combine any theme with either mode and the logo stays readable in both. A custom theme works in both modes too, but if you mostly work in dark mode, pick a dark page background so the result looks natural.

The theme only applies to the signed-in areas: your workspace, settings and the admin panel. The public website, the pricing page and your customer portal always use the default Espresso theme, so your customers always see consistent branding. Customer-facing colours are set separately in the chat widget settings and in your workspace brand colour.

Changing the theme takes effect immediately and does not affect other agents in your workspace. Everyone chooses their own.
