Automatic IMAP and SMTP settings for known providers

When connecting a mailbox manually you do not have to look up server names. In Settings -> Email channel choose your provider from the list, or type the address and press Detect from email.

Presets are available for Gmail, Microsoft 365, Zoho, OVH, home.pl, GMX, Fastmail, iCloud, IONOS and others. Selecting one fills the IMAP and SMTP host, port and TLS settings; you only add the user name and password.

Notes:

• Gmail and Microsoft 365 require OAuth or an app password, not your normal account password.
• If your provider is not on the list, enter the servers manually using the documentation from your host.
• After saving, use the Test connection button to confirm both IMAP and SMTP work.
