Signing in with Google
Updated 2026-09-09
Agents can create an account or sign in with Google on every plan, at no extra cost.
Step by step
- Open the sign-up or login page.
- On sign-up, tick the box accepting the Terms and Privacy Policy — the Google button unlocks after that.
- Click Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
- You land in EspressoDesk. A new account goes through workspace setup; if you were invited by a teammate, the invitation is accepted automatically once the e-mail matches.
Good to know
- Use the same address the invitation was sent to, otherwise a separate empty workspace is created.
- We only receive your e-mail, name and profile picture. We never see your Google password and request no access to Gmail or Drive.
- You can keep using a password as well: request a reset link from the login page.
Troubleshooting
- The Google button does nothing on sign-up: the acceptance checkbox for the Terms and Privacy Policy is not ticked yet.
- You end up in an empty workspace: you signed in with a different address from the one that was invited. Sign out, then sign in again with the invited address, or ask for a new invitation.
- Your browser blocks the pop-up: allow pop-ups for our domain and try again.
- You changed company and lost access to the Google account: an owner can invite your new address and remove the old one.
Good to know
Signing in with Google does not replace two-factor authentication on your Google account; if you have it there, it protects EspressoDesk too. You can mix methods inside one team, so some agents use Google and others a password, and nothing changes for your customers either way.
