Live Chat & Customer Portal
How customers sign in to the portal?
Updated 2026-09-04
Customers can access their support history seamlessly without needing to create or remember a password. To log into your portal, they simply enter the email address they used when originally contacting your support team, and the platform sends a secure, one-time verification code directly to their inbox. Entering this temporary code authenticates their session, giving them instant access to view all their submitted tickets, open requests, and historical replies.
To ensure high account security, these verification codes are short-lived and valid for a single use only. If a code expires before the user enters it, they can instantly request a new one from the sign-in screen.
Because portal access is tied strictly to individual email addresses, customers can only view conversations originated from that specific address. If a user reaches out using a secondary email address, those interactions will be isolated under that alternative account. To prevent fragmented support histories, encourage your clients to submit inquiries using a consistent email address. Alternatively, your team can manually merge related tickets from different addresses inside your admin workspace to maintain a unified customer record.
