Renewal dates, expiry and read-only mode

Every billing screen shows the date that matters for your workspace:

• Trial ends - the last day of your 14-day free trial.
• Renews on - the next automatic charge for an active subscription.
• Access until - shown after a cancellation; the workspace works normally until this date.

When the trial ends without a purchase, or a cancelled subscription reaches its end date, the workspace switches to read-only mode:

• You and your agents can still sign in and read every ticket, message and article.
• Sending replies, creating or editing tickets, and publishing knowledge base articles are blocked.
• Incoming email and chat keep arriving so nothing is lost.

Buying or resuming a plan restores full access immediately - no data is deleted while the workspace is read-only.

Where to check your dates

Open Settings -> Billing. The current plan, the number of agent seats and the next relevant date are shown at the top, and every purchase and renewal appears in the history below.

What happens around the renewal

• Three days before the trial ends, the workspace owner gets a reminder e-mail with the exact end date, and a notice appears in the dashboard.
• On the day the trial ends, the owner gets a second e-mail explaining that the workspace is now read-only and that picking a plan restores everything. Each reminder is sent only once, and workspaces with lifetime or beta access never receive them.
• On the renewal date the subscription is charged automatically with the payment method stored by our payment provider.
• If a payment fails, the workspace stays fully usable for a short grace period while the provider retries the charge.
• Cancelling stops the next charge only; you keep everything until the access date shown on the billing page.

Good to know

Read-only mode never deletes anything. Tickets, messages, contacts, attachments and articles all stay in place, and the moment a plan is active again your team continues exactly where it stopped.
