Connecting a custom domain
Updated 2026-08-11
On the plans that include it you can serve your customer portal from your own address, for example help.yourcompany.com.
Add the domain in Settings, then create the DNS records shown on the screen at your registrar: a CNAME pointing the subdomain to EspressoDesk and a TXT record with the verification token. Save them and press verify.
DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours to propagate. Until verification succeeds the status stays pending and the exact error is displayed, which usually points to a typo in the record or a proxy setting at your DNS provider. Once verified, the portal is reachable at your domain over HTTPS.
